About

pineapple n. A tropical American plant (Ananas comosus) having large swordlike leaves and a large, fleshy, edible, multiple fruit with a terminal. Also slang for a $50 note (’could somebody loan me a pineapple?’).

Pineapple watch.com is run by me, Colin Docherty, an equity trader and programmer by trade. Pineapple watch’s goal is to provide you with up to date news, opinions, views, and critique on all different financial issues. By researching, delving, and asking both the hard and easy questions, I hope I’ll be able to deliver the heart of the issue.

My other goal is to bring forward some eye opening theories about specific companies or the global markets. Later, I’ll attempt to post interviews with smart, forward thinking people, plucking their brain and their outlook. Bookmark this site, as I update daily, and missing out on critical information could either be a famine or a feast for your backyard pineapple tree. Let it be the later.

I’ll keep an eye out for you.

Regards,

Dan
